CONGESTION CONTAINED: New road may ease U.S. 33 traffic

CHURUBUSCO — Traffic could possibly be rerouted from U.S. 33, north of Churubusco, for those vehicles traveling to C&A Tool Engineering and BRC Rubber and Plastics, two large manufacturing facilities on the outskirts of town.

At Wednesday’s Churubusco Town Council meeting, a plan to construct a new road at the edge of town would create an alternative traffic pattern, lessening the back up of vehicles that occurs in town at certain times of day.
