Connie June Freshour, 60, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at her home in LeRoy, Kan.
She was born June 14, 1953 in Iola, Kan., the daughter of Ray and Willena Simpson Holloway.
Connie attended Colony Crest High School and graduated as a member of the Class of 1971.
During the years following high school she lived in Columbia City, and worked at Weatherhead Manufacturing.
Connie was joined in marriage to Ralph K. Freshour June 16, 1978, in Columbia City.
They lived in Columbia City until moving to Colony in 1980.
The couple moved back to Indiana in 1986, and settled down in LeRoy, Kan. in 1991. Connie was a proud homemaker, wife and mother.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Ralph of their home; two sons, Adam and Josh Freshour, both of LeRoy; two sisters, Willena Tressler of Yates Center and Nonnie Masters of Burlingame, Kan.; and a sister, Melody Holloway of Gas City, Kan. Connie was preceded in death by a son, Michael J. Freshour April 26, 2010.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday at the VanArsdale Funeral Home in LeRoy, Kan. Burial will follow services at LeRoy Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m., Sunday evening at the VanArsdale Funeral Home in LeRoy.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Association and sent in care of the funeral home.
