CHURUBUSCO â A self-proclaimed history buff, Aaron Mathieu has slaked his thirst for all things antiquated as an employee of the Whitley County Historical Museum.
The Churubusco native has worked at the museum for more than three years.
In addition to his love of history, Mathieu is also a film enthusiast with aspirations of making his own movies.
Mathieu graduated from Churubusco with the Class of 1992. He still lives in âBusco, along with his wife, Maritza, and three young daughters.
Hereâs what Mathieu had to say about himself, his hometown and his profession:
Q: What do you like best about the museum?
A: âIâve always loved history. Working at the museum, I am able to work with local history each and every day, which is such a blessing.â
Q: What is your favorite artifact or exhibit?
A: âMy favorite artifact would have to be the Mayflower Cup. We have a wooden cup on exhibit that came over on the Mayflower.â
