COUGARS VS. WILDCATS: ’Cats drop narrow contest to Cougars

April 25, 2014

Errors in the field from Whitko’s softball team helped Central Noble get a win Wednesday.

The Lady Cougars beat the visiting Lady Wildcats 4-3. The contest was scoreless early, as neither team managed even a hit in the first three innings of play.

Central Noble finally scored first, taking advantage of Whitko errors to get two runs in the fourth and one in the bottom of the fifth.

The Lady Wildcats struck in the top of the sixth. With the bases loaded, Sydney Lancaster hit a one-run single to make the game 3-1.
