County Quilters Club sees 34 members at February meeting

WHITLEY COUNTY — The Whitley County Country Quilters gathered for its February monthly meeting recently.

Thirty-four members were in attendance and enjoyed camaraderie, refreshments, show and tell, and a round-robin of four different quilt-making techniques demonstrated by Dee Duff, Barb Born, Janet Reed and Linda Jones.

Members are looking forward to celebrating National Quilting Day by attending The Gathering of Quilters March 15 at Wayne High School, hosted by the Appleseed Quilters Guild.

Whitley County Country Quilters meets at Grace Lutheran Church at 6 p.m. the last Tuesday of the month.

Those interested in quilting are encouraged to come at 4 p.m. with their sewing projects, machines, and supplies each month for All Sew.

The March 25 meeting will feature guest speaker Becky Hanson, from Clover. Guests and new members are always invited to attend.
