COLUMBIA CITY â€” While Sundayâ€™s snowfall put a damper on travel plans and put Whitley County into a state of emergency, some are electing to make the best of their time at home.
Many Whitley County residents say theyâ€™re taking the opportunity to spend quality time with family.
On the other hand, many businesses and factories were forced to close Monday due to an official travel warning and Level I State of Emergency, issued by government officials Sunday night, and extended through Tuesday at 5 p.m.
