IN COURT: Continuances granted for meth pair
COLUMBIA CITY — A Columbia City woman accused of manufacturing methamphetamine had her first court appearance with her attorney Monday.Braidon Hall, 19, hired Greggory Hockemeyer to be her attorney. Hockemeyer requested a continuance to Aug. 5 so he could become more acquainted with the situation.Hall was arrested with Mitchell Bradley, who also had a pretrial conference continued Monday. Both individuals have court situations to resolve in other counties due to probation violations. Bradley will appear in Whitley County Circuit Court this Monday, July 22.The pair were arrested in the morning hours of June 12 by Columbia City Police Captain Tony Hively. He uncovered an active meth lab cooking in one soda bottle, and the pair was allegedly in the process of beginning a second, according to case reports.Bradley was charged with dealing in methamphetamine.
