CRASH: Motorcyclist severely injured Wed.

COLUMBIA CITY — A local man was severely injured Wednesday after hitting a vehicle head on with his motorcycle.
Thomas Hesting of Columbia City was airlifted to Fort Wayne at approximately 10:30 a.m. from the area of Ind. 9 and CR 500 N.
Witnesses say Hesting drove his Harley Davidson motorcycle left of center, hitting a vehicle driven by Chelsea Craig of Columbia City head on.
Craig was transported by ambulance to Parkview Whitley with back pain.
The Whitley County Sheriff’s Department said Hesting was wearing a helmet and Craig was properly restrained.
