A golf cart was totaled when the top of a tree fell on it with people inside Wednesday at Crooked Lake Golf Course.

A storm blew in Wednesday evening, bringing straight-line winds that left many tree branches on the course.

No one was injured and Crooked Lake remains open for linksters.
