Damaged lift station repaired

COLUMBIA CITY — The Columbia City Board of Works and Safety received word last week that a brand-new sewer lift station, dinged up by an excavator during installation, is fully repaired and ready to be put in the ground.
“The repair has been made and meets the repair action plan,” said City Outside Operations Manager Jeff Walker on Friday.
“There was no real damage, it was more of a cosmetic and aesthetic issue than anything else. I’m pleased with how it turned out.”
