DAMP START: Old Settlers Days begins Tuesday evening

June 24, 2014

COLUMBIA CITY – Showers throughout the day Tuesday will lessen toward evening, ushering in a damp start to Old Settlers Days in downtown Columbia City.

The great weather news is that Wednesday through Friday is forecast to be dry and pleasant.

There's a chance of mid-day showers Saturday, with that chance lessening toward 5 p.m. Saturday and the start of the American Legion-Old Settlers Parade down Main Street.

Tuesday night's opening free musical entertainment on the Courthouse Square stage is the Junk Yard Band, scheduled to play oldies starting at 8 p.m. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy!
