Daniel R. Culp, 62, of Columbia City, passed away at 8:40 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at Parkview Whitley Hospital, Columbia City.
Born July 25, 1950 in Goshen, he was the son of Robert and June H. (Eberhard) Brock.
A Whitley County resident most of his lifetime, he attended Columbia City Joint High School. He worked at Fort Wayne Foundry since August, 2007.
Surviving relatives include his mother and father, Robert and June Brock of Columbia City; children, Corey R. (Tonya) Culp of Warsaw, Lisa M. (Gene) Hyser of Columbia City and Bryan R. Culp of Columbia City; two brothers, Jeff L. Culp of Battlecreek, Mich. and Bill E. (Tobie) Culp of Columbia City; one sister, Lorie A. (John) Plant of Columbia City; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The visitation is Thursday from 2 to 7 p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City.
A private family burial will be held at Nolt Cemetery, Columbia City. Memorials may be given in memory of Mr. Culp to the National Parkinson Foundation.
