Danny Dwayne Morgan, 66, of Bluffton and formerly of Naples, Fla., died at 1:47 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2012, at his residence.
Mr. Morgan was born in Muncie on July 4, 1945, to Paul Earnest Morgan and Mary Alice Knapp Morgan.
He married Debborah Lynn Cowan in Beaufort, S.C., on Sept. 30, 1966. She survives in Naples, Fla.
Other surviving relatives include a son, Shane Earnest Theodore (Denise) Morgan of Columbia City; three daughters, Kelly Marie (Shaun) Phillips of Columbia City, Angela Kaye (James) Millett of Naples, Fla., and Rhonda Dannett Morgan of Pierceton; two sisters, Paula June (Steven) Holloway of Decatur and JoBeth (Mike) Abraham of Bad Axe, Mich.; a brother, Gary Theodore (Karla) Morgan of Decatur; and 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by one brother, Shawn Forest Morgan.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date at the American Legion Post 157 in Churubusco. The Goodwin Memorial Chapel in Bluffton is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences: www.thegmcfamily.com.
