Darwin Trautman, 85

Darwin D. Trautman, 85, of Fort Wayne, passed away at 5:15 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Parkview Regional Hospital.
Born in Allen County, April 19, 1927, he was the son of the late Lafayette Trautman and Mitilda (Burkamp) Trautman. He retired in 1987 from Philips Dodge as a wire enameler after 46 years.
He has served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion Post #98, Columbia City.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Bonnie G. (Egolf) Trautman of Fort Wayne; son, Bruce Trautman of Fort Wayne; daughter, Aimee (Beau) Maggert of Columbia City; two grandsons, Trevor and Blake Maggert of Columbia City; two sisters, Joan Knapp of Fort Wayne and Patricia Waterson of Columbia City.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Son Rise Roanoke Church, 1220 Lower Huntington Rd., with calling one hour prior.
