Deborah Jo Moore, 59, of Columbia City, died at 12:20 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne. Born April 26, 1952 in Kendallville, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Janice (Harp) Larson.
She graduated from East Noble High School with the Class of 1970. She married Dennis Moore at Faith UMC Kendallville in 1972. She was a licensed appraiser and owned her own business, Moore Appraisals. She was a member of Columbia City United Methodist Church, where she headed up the mid-week meal ministry.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis Moore of Columbia City; son, Chad (Courtney) Moore of Columbia City; daughter, Kimberly (Stewart Skeans) Moore of Warsaw; sister, Judi (Jon) Hall of Convoy, Ohio; grandchildren, Cambry and Carsten Moore of Columbia City and Lucas and Quinton Skeans of Warsaw; and brother-in-law, Charlie Berhalter of Rome City.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sharon Berhalter.
At Mrs. Moore’s request services are private.
