Delores Harber, 80

Delores Wilhelmina Harber, 80, of Columbia City, passed away at 7:30 a.m. Monday, April 8, 2013, at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. Born November 17, 1932, in Jefferson Township, she was the daughter of Marion Joseph and Mary Regina (Hinen) Harber.
She lived her entire lifetime in Jefferson Township. She worked at Classic Products, Fort Wayne, and Embroidery Products. She was baptized at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Roanoke, but attended St. Patrick Catholic Church, Arcola, her entire life.
Surviving relatives include her sister, Mary Frances Strack of Fort Wayne; 13 nieces and nephews; and numerous great- and great-great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joseph (Alice) Harber and brother-in-law, Charles “Tony” Strack.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary starting at 3:45 p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Patrick Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior to service. Father Cyril Fernandes will be officiating. The burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Roanoke.
Memorials may be given in memory of Miss Harber to Masses or to St. Patrick Catholic Church, Arcola.
