Dennis W. Sutton, 61, of Claypool, died at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
He was born July 15, 1952, in Bluffton, a son of Richard F. and Alice Rose (Shady) Sutton. His formative years were spent in South Whitley, graduating from South Whitley High School.
He was employed at Dayco, Wolf Cage & Supply for 19 years, Whitley Feeds in South Whitley for 11 years and lastly at Advanced Auto Parts.
A member of Noble County Rabbit Fanciers where he served as president, he was also a member of Indiana Bass Masters.
Surviving relatives include four brothers, Richard A. Sutton of Auburn, Robert M. (Beth) Sutton of Boyden, IA, Jeffrey L. (Becky) Sutton Sr. of Larwill and Ralph David (Tanya) Linthicum of Corunna; a brother-in-law, Joseph Adams of Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews of three generations.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step father, Roscoe C. Linthicum and a sister, Sherry Adams.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Smith & Sons Miller Chapel, South Whitley.
The burial will be in South Whitley Cemetery. The visitation will be from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to the final expense account payable to Smith & Sons Funeral Homes. Condolences may be sent to www.smithandsonsfuneralhome.com.
