Despite change, Internet speed still slow in office

COLUMBIA CITY — Internet speed in the Whitley County Recorder’s Office continues to be an issue, according to Jim Becher of SDS Communications, who handles information technology for the county.
Becher approached the joint meeting of the Whitley County Council and Board of Commissioners earlier this week to give the two panels an update on all things “computer.”
“Last year we replaced a lot of computers,” Becher said. “Things are in pretty good shape at this point.”
One area that is still lacking, according to Becher, is the Internet speed at the county’s recorder’s office.
