COLUMBIA CITY â€” With many construction companies moving to PVC (plastic) water pipes to save money, a local developer was present at last weekâ€™s Columbia City Board of Works meeting to request officials allow for PVC pipe.
Don Langeloh, a local developer, asked the board to consider allowing him to install PVC pipe on a new area heâ€™s developing in the city, Ravenwood Court in Eagle Glen, as well as Lincoln Pointe addition, located near CR 300 East and U.S. 30.
â€śMore and more developers and communities are going to this,â€ť Langeloh said. â€śI think PVC is the next step for waterlines.â€ť
