Dog Days at Huntington

Artists, including local artist Joni Walker, have begun painting fire hydrants in downtown Huntington for “Dog Days of Summer,” an outdoor art exhibit presented by the Huntington Arts Initiative, Inc. The ongoing exhibit will open Sunday, when everyone is invited to “Take a Sundae Stroll Along the Dog Walk.” The opening day festivities will last from 2 to 5 p.m. Proceeds from the art exhibit will go toward the renovation of The Studio, which will house a professional gallery, a small professional theater and space for art-related classes.
