Donnabelle Taylor, 83

Donnabelle “Johnnie” Taylor, 83, of Fort Wayne, died at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana.
She was born June 6, 1928 in Fort Wayne and was the daughter of Charles Peter and Lyda Belle (Harrison) Wagner.
She married Laurel E. Taylor Sept. 26, 1953.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Laurel E. Taylor, Fort Wayne; her children, Gregory E. Taylor of Pierceton and Vance Taylor of Orlando, Fla.; one sister in law, LeEtta Wagner, Columbia City; and one brother in law, Robert Selzer, Fort Wayne; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, children Brian and Bradley Dean Taylor, two sisters, Carol Selzer and Mildred “Millie” Mullendore and one brother, Laverne Wagner.
Visitation is Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City with funeral service following at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Jefferson Chapel Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be given to the donor’s charity of choice.
