Dorothy Pastore, 79, of Bluffton, died at 3:34 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born Feb. 6, 1933, in Lawton, Okla., the daughter of Ernest M. and Mildred L. (Reach) Nottingham. She married Nicholas A. Pastore on July 18, 1953. He preceded her in death on June 29, 1974. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Surviving relatives include three children, Stephen Pastore of Colo., Thomas Pastore of Indianapolis and Nicole (Geoff) Penrod of Columbia City; a brother Jerry (Wynona) Nottingham of Lawton, Okla.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Michele Fendt; sisters, Beverly Loubier and Tommie Miller.
A mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. with visitation on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Goodwin Memorial Chapel. The burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Bluffton.
