Drug search leads to bomb

CHURUBUSCO — Police who were investigating possible illegal drug and paraphernalia possession stumbled upon a bomb in Churubusco Saturday morning.
Deputies with the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department, Jason Spencer and Mike Engle, were called to 5830 N Timberlane Drive at approximately 9 a.m. Saturday after the owners of a rental property found suspected illegal drugs during a property welfare check.
