Eagle-Stars pummel Norwell, New Haven in triple dual

OSSIAN — Indian Springs Middle School’s wrestling team began its season with an undefeated record.

The Eagles faced New Haven and Norwell Wednesday night in a triple dual, topping Norwell by a decisive 72-15 score and beating New Haven by default.
The Bulldogs only brought seven grapplers.

Picking up wins against New Haven were: A.J. Chapin, Matt Wright, Seth Rosen, Jake Elkins and Jackson Wilcoxson.

Fifteen grapplers picked up wins over Norwell, including Braden Baker, Joe Willson, Jacob Wigent, Drew Rethlake, Jon O’Dell, Hunter Reed, Wright, Rosen, Jamison Brown, Elkins, Wilcoxson, Westin Ottinger, Trevor Fries and Josh Pequignot.

ISMS will be back in action Monday when the Eagles travel to DeKalb.
