Eagles fall to NHC powerhouse New Haven
NEW HAVEN — The Columbia City Eagle football squad began a stretch of three straight games against state-ranked opponents with a road game against unbeaten and Northeast Hoosier Conference leader New Haven. The Eagles, forced by injuries to go deep into the depth charts at several offensive and defensive positions, were able to hang with the Bulldogs for much of the game before falling 29-6.A quick count noted eight Eagle starters on the sidelines with various injuries, with another running back that would leave the game at halftime.
