In the bottom of the second, a single was hit by Jake Elkins and a double was hit by Gary Ormsby.
An error on Norwell’s part scored one run and Keaton Reed slid into home plate after another single was hit, ending the inning 3-1, the Eagles in the lead.
Unfortunately, the third inning was not as successful for Columbia City.
