Eagles nab Homecoming win

COLUMBIA CITY — It is midseason, and the injury bug has started to bite, but Columbia City’s football team was able to rally the troops and beat DeKalb on homecoming.

The Eagles beat the Barons 34-12.

Columbia City stepped onto the field absent quarterback Travis Herbst, who Head Coach Randy Hudgins said was day-to-day as far as his status. In his stead, Trevor Bolt stepped in and led the Eagle offense.
