Eagles post best score in 8 years

Columbia City’s boys golf team is continuing to pick up speed on the season after beating undefeated Leo Thursday night and posting the best score in Head Coach Andrew Thompson’s career.

The Eagles scored a 147 at Cedar Creek Golf Course, one stroke better than Wednesday night’s 148 against Churubusco and Whitko.

“That was a big win,” Thompson said. “It’s been a good week.”
The Eagles are 3-1 on the week, winning the county match Wednesday night and falling in a close match to Carroll.
