WOODBURN — Churubusco’s boys basketball team traveled to Woodlan Wednesday night to post a 71-49 win and improve the Eagles to a winning record (4-3).
’Busco’s Josh LeFever scored 10 of the Eagles’ 16 first-quarter points, while the defense held the Warriors to nine.
“He (LeFever) got off on a real good roll in the first quarter,” Churubusco Head Coach Mike McBride said. “In the first quarter we did a nice job defensively, they have some kids that shoot it pretty well and we stopped them.”
