Churubusco â€” Elaine Carol Krider, 64, a resident of Churubusco, died at 12:50 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2011, at the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.
She was born Nov. 20, 1946 in Decatur to Marcus and Marcella (Gehres) Reidenbach.
On July 24, 1971 she married David R. Krider in Monroeville.
Survivors include her husband David; a daughter Darlene Lee of Fort Wayne; three stepdaughters Terri Bryan, Tammy Raymer, and Tanya St. Louis all of Fort Wayne; four brothers Dean Reidenbach of Monroeville, Keith Reidenbach of Conroy, Ohio, Dale Reidenbach of Woodburn, and Larry Reidenbach of Fremont; a sister Karen Reidenbach of Monroeville; Several nieces and nephews; nine grandchildren and one greatâ€“grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco with Rev. William Smith, pastor of St. Markâ€™s Lutheran Church, Monroeville, officiating.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.
Interment will be in the Eel River Cemetery, south of Churubusco.
