COLUMBIA CITY â€” With absentee voting officially open as of Tuesday, citizens are encouraged to vote early at the courthouse during the available scheduled hours.
Citizens may also vote early by mail with forms from the clerkâ€™s office or by traveling board. Election Day is Nov. 6.

The hours for absentee voting at the clerkâ€™s office, located in the courthouse at Room 18 on the second floor, are Oct. 9-12 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Oct. 15 to Nov. 2 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Oct. 13 and 20 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.; Oct. 27 and Nov. 2 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Nov. 5 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
