ELECTION 2012: Reimers running again

COLUMBIA CITY — As primaries draw near, Whitley County Councilman At-Large Paula Reimers is again throwing her hat in the ring. Currently, she joins five other Republicans and one Democrat who have given their notice to run prior to the Feb. 10 deadline. Reimers was elected Whitley County Councilman At-Large in 2010.

She has worked as a Deputy Township Assessor, Tax Deputy and for a Reassessment Contractor as a Level I, Level II Certified Assessor. Reimers also served for nine years as the county coordinator and human resource director for Whitley County Government, giving her more than 18 years of progressive experience in human resource management and local government. She currently serves on the Plan Commission, Emergency Management, and Personnel Committee.
