Emal Mullins, 90, of Kimmell, died Monday, July 11, 2011 at Northridge Village in Albion.
He was born Aug. 19, 1920 to Harrison and Roxie (Stanley) Mullins in Ramey Flats, Va.
On Nov. 21, 1946, he married Bessie J. Vanover in Clintwood, Va.
He served in the United States Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Bessie; four children, Linda Craft of Kimmell, Bernie Mullins of Ligonier, Ray Mullins of Ligonier, Marie Renner of Ligonier; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Freeman, Clifford, Benny & Arthur Mullins; and one sister, Elsie Skipper.
There will be a funeral service Friday at 11 a.m. at Yeager Funeral Home with Reverend Mel Harrell from the Ligonier Church of Christ officiating.
Burial will be in Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell. There will be military graveside honors.
There will be a time of visitation on Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yeager Funeral Home in Ligonier.
