EMS proposal on tap for Monday

COLUMBIA CITY — The two governing bodies of Whitley County will meet together next week to discuss new developments in the issue of the county’s Emergency Medical Service.
After having crafted a plan to run the county’s EMS service for another five years and having it approved in May by the Whitley County Board of Commissioners, Parkview Whitley Hospital presented several new proposals earlier this month that will mean much more money out of the county’s coffers.
