COLUMBIA CITY â€” In May, Whitley Countyâ€™s government officials thought the issue of Emergency Medical Services was resolved.
The Board of Commissioners, with the blessing of the majority of county council members, voted 2-1 to enter into a five-year contract with Parkview Whitley Hospital to have the hospital continue to run the countyâ€™s ambulance service.
On Wednesday, they got a surprise.
