COLUMBIA CITY ÂÂ Ââ The choirs at Columbia City High School celebrated a year of success with an annual variety and talent show.
âFantacularâ has been a long-standing tradition at the school complete with individual and group acts. But to the seniors, this event marks the completion of their years in choir.

âIts been a great year for us, a fun time putting this show together. This is a culmination of a year that has been very successful. This is a wonderful experience for students to be involved in a program like this and then at the end of the year to have a show case of their talents,â said Rosalie Geller, director of choirs at CCHS.
On Saturday, the show closed with a special recognition ceremony for seniors. Parents and seniors gathered on stage to be congratulated for the time they have spent in the choir program. Geller was especially appreciative of the parents who have been a part of the choirsâ many facets.
Holding to tradition, the seniors picked a song that represented their era and sang the night to a close with tears, hugs and some laughs.
âIt is always a fun time and it is memorable for us all. It is a huge part of my high school time here. I will always remember my time in show choir,â said Cassidy Richison a senior member of City Lights show choir.
