FINAL CONCERT: Cheyenne to close out OSD concert series

COLUMBIA CITY (June 28, 2014) — Old Settlers Days will feature Cheyenne in an outdoor free concert tonight at 8 p.m.

Cheyenne was founded in 1995 and entertains crowds with a variety of 80s and 90s prime country with a little classic rock mixed in.

Members of the band include Jim Gilbert on lead vocals, piano and fiddle. Gilbert is originally from Columbia City and currently resides in Auburn.

Columbia City resident Tim Yagel plays bass guitar and sings.

Brandon Marshall, of Columbia City, plays drums and offers vocals.

Jimmy Barfield, originally from Atlanta, Ga., plays lead guitar and lends his voice to the group. He currently resides in Sturgis, Mich.
Joe Shults, of Albion, plays guitars and sings.

The members of Cheyenne have 138 years of combined stage experience and have opened shows for national acts.
