FIRE: Friday afternoon garage fire near Loon Lake put out quickly

Local firefighters battled a garage fire Friday afternoon at 3321 W. Keck Rd. near Loon Lake. According to the Whitley County GIS site, the home is deeded to James and Linda Hale. Firefighters received the call at approximately 12:30 p.m. and the fire was marked “under control” by 1:05 p.m. Richland Township, Thorncreek Township and Noble County firemen all responded to the scene.
