Florence Grice, 88

PORT STANLEY, Ontario — Florence Kathryn “Kay” Grice, 88, of Port Stanley, Ontario and formerly of Columbia City, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011.
She was the beloved wife of the late Wm. Reid Grice, who preceded her in death in 2003.
She is survived by son Kenneth (Patty) Grice of Kitchener, Ontario and daughter Marilyn (Gary) Williams of Kansas; grandchildren Melissa and Jennifer Grice, and Craig Fleeman; and great grandchildren Keaton Fleeman, Colton Ried Fleeman, and Keylee Jean Fleeman. She is also survived by her sister, Paulina McCormick of London, Ontario and several nieces and nephews.
Kay was a homemaker and had been a member of the Eastern Star-Flower City #91, the Dana Retirees, and Eaton’s of Canada for a number of years.
Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas, Ontario on Wednesday from noon to 2 p.m. where a memorial service to celebrate Kay’s life will be held in the chapel at 2 p.m.
A private Interment of ashes will be held in Elmdale Memorial Park on Thursday. Donations to a charity of one’s own choice would be appreciated. Personal condolences can be made at
