Floyd Arthur Ferguson, Jr, 44, of Kendallville, died unexpectedly Friday, April 25, 2014. 
Floyd was born in Columbia City, July 5, 1969, to the late Floyd Arthur Ferguson, Sr. and Diane Susan (Young) Jordan. 
He was employed with Courier in Kendallville for many years and also worked for the News Sun and USA Today in the Virgin Islands. He was a sports fan and enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings, the Fighting Irish of Nortre Dame, and the Chicago Cubs. Floyd especially loved his two children and spending time with them.
Surviving relatives include a daughter, Kimberly Jane Ferguson of Kendallville; two-year-old son, Braxton Keen Ferguson of Kendallville; sister, Christine Trumbull of Fort Wayne; sister, Dana (Mike) Kelly of Columbia City.
His father preceded him in death April 1, 2004 and his mother May 13, 2013. 
Visitation will be Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Hite Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Kane officiating.
Burial will be at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville.
Preferred memorials may be made to family for future education costs of his children.
