Food shortage causes local pantry to close

COLUMBIA CITY — The food pantry at Victory Christian Fellowship Church, located at 1330 W. Business 30 in Columbia City, is temporarily closed due to a shortage in food.

According to organizers, the pantry, which is typically open Mondays 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesdays noon to 2 p.m., has run out of food items to give away to those in need.
