Franklin Geiger, 96

Franklin Geiger, 96, a lifelong farmer in Green Township in Noble County, passed away at 2:32 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010 following a brief illness.
He was born March 2, 1914 in Noble County, a son of Herschel and Leona (Eberly) Geiger. He and his wife, Lenora Ellen (Fulk) Geiger, would have been married 70 years Feb. 27, 2011.
Survivors include his wife, Lenora Ellen; two daughters, Joan Young and Janice Parquet; and a son, John F. Geiger.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Sugar Grove Church of God, with Pastor Timothy Grable, officiating.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco, or at the church one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in the family plot at Eel River Cemetery, south of Churubusco.
