FREE MULCH: Available at Morsches Park

Free mulch is available to Columbia City residents.

Located in the back of Morsches Park is a large pile of mulch, collected from leaf pick-up last fall.

City residents are able to load up as much mulch as they want, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Access to the mulch pile may be limited throughout the day due to U.S. 30 bridge repair that effects Morsches Park.

Indiana Department of Transportation officials say bridge work should be completed by 5 p.m. every day, and the road to the back of the park is expected to be open.
