Freshman Eagles face third loss
COLUMBIA CITY — Columbia City’s freshman boys basketball team played its make-up game with Carroll Wednesday night in Columbia City.The Eagles were handed their third loss of the season, falling 51-38 to the Chargers. Carroll took a 34-16 advantage at halftime, after several Columbia City shots weren’t falling. The high-scorer for the Eagles was Jordan Bechtold, with four 3-pointers and a final tally of 18 points.Rob Wood scored eight points. Andrew Jagger added a 3-pointer of his own to go with his five points.Brock Snouffer finished with four points and Brendon Slagal added a triple of his own for three points.The Eagles are now 11-3.
