The Whitley County Master Gardeners are holding their first plant and seed sale of the season Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon.
It will be held at the Whitley County 4-H Center, in conjunction with the Boomerang Backpack fundraiser.
The fundraiser will feature a pancake breakfast from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., a 5K run, as well as various vendors inside the community building.
In addition, the Master Gardeners will be selling plants on the opening day of the Whitley County Farmerâ€™s Market, in Columbia City, Saturday, May 10 from 8 a.m. to noon.
The Master Gardeners booth will be at the corner of Van Buren and Chauncey streets at the Whitley County Courthouse Square.
