Gary E. Brubaker, 64, of Pierceton, passed away at 6:24 a.m. on Saturday May 26, 2012, in Lutheran Hospital Fort Wayne.
He was born Oct. 8, 1947, in Wabash to Wayne B. and Betty J. (Duhamell) Brubaker
Gary married Gloria England in Wabash on April 26, 1970.
He had resided in Pierceton for the past 35 years, where he was a member of the Pierceton United Methodist Church.
He was previously employed by Pierceton Foods and was currently working for Wabash Electric in Warsaw.
He was a Volunteer for the Pierceton Fire Department, retiring with 30 years of service.
Gary is survived by three sons, Daniel E. (Tara) Brubaker, Fort Wayne, Matthew W. (Marsha) Brubaker, Pierceton and Timothy C. (Kari) Brubaker, Columbia City; two brothers, Rodney (Kathy) Brubaker, Wabash, Dennis (Marissa) Brubaker, Fort Wayne; five grandchildren, Jenna, Andrew, Mallory, Aidan and Emily and numerous nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Gloria, who died Nov. 28, 2011.
Funeral services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw on Saturday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Holly White officiating.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral chapel in Warsaw.
Burial will be at Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash.
