President George W. Bush addressed the nation at 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 11, 2001, from the Oval Office of the White House.
â€śNone of us will ever forget this day,â€ť he told the nation, â€śyet we go forward to defend freedom and all that is good and just in our world. We are going to win. Weâ€™re going to do what it takes to win this war,â€ť said Bush.
