GOLF OPENER: Lady Eagles drop three-stroke match

COLUMBIA CITY — Columbia City’s girls golf team dropped its first match by a close margin Tuesday afternoon. The Lady Eagles fell 196-199 to Wawasee in the season opener at Eagle Glen. The loss sends Columbia City to an 0-1 record, but the Lady Eagles will have the opportunity to redeem themselves on their home course Thursday against Northrop.
