Columbia City, IN – 1st Source Bank announces it will break ground on a new banking center at 630 Countryside Dr. in Columbia City, across the road from the Kroger Plaza.
A groundbreaking ceremony will be held Wednesday, August 15 at 11:00 a.m.
Those scheduled to attend the groundbreaking include Ryan Daniel, Mayor of Columbia City; Doug Brown, Director of the Whitley County Chamber of Commerce; Jennifer Zartman-Romano, Chamber Board President; Larry Mayers, 1st Source Regional President; and Cari Wells, 1st Source Banking Center Manager, among others.
The new banking center will feature side-by-side banking, in which the traditional teller walls are removed to allow clients to see exactly what the teller sees during their transaction.
The banking center will also feature a customer service center with a fax machine, shredder, and internet-connected computer. Drive-up banking and an ATM will also be available.
“We are excited to expand in Columbia City and strengthen our presence in the community,” said Cari Wells, who will manage the new banking center. “Clients are really going to enjoy the new location and the added conveniences the banking center will have to offer.”
The new free-standing banking center will open in early 2013 and will replace the current 1st Source banking center a half-mile west in the Walmart Supercenter.
