GUN AND AUTO THEFT: 'Busco man facing four felony charges

CHURUBUSCO — A 24-year-old Churubusco man is facing four felony charges after he allegedly stole a vehicle, several firearms, and is also facing drug charges stemming from an investigation in May.

Steven Keister, 24, of Churubusco, was arrested last month for possession of paraphernalia, vehicle theft, receiving stolen property and theft, after an investigation by Whitley County Sheriff’s Department Detective Jason Spencer.

According to a case report by Spencer, the detective first investigated a vehicle theft from a Whitley County home May 9. According to the report, the victim’s 2012 GMC Acadia was stolen from his driveway, along with several items inside.
